Lawjustify Journal

Lawjustify Journal is an open-access student-edited blind peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal with a focal theme of the legal arena. The Journal is a novel platform for the students, academicians, and scholars from the legal fraternity to display their novel work that can contribute to existing knowledge of the law.

The aim of the journal is to present a good quality to work in the legal world that can contribute to the existing knowledge of the law and spread legal awareness. Journal invites research papers, case comments, short articles, and long articles from the legal world.

Submission Guidelines For Journal

Lawjustify calls for unique and unpublished and research papers, Short Notes, Book Reviews, Blogs & Case Commentary.The quality-based selected research papers, Short Notes, Book Reviews, & Case Commentary will be published in the form of E-Journal on our online website.

A call for paper is issued in the interest of authors to inform about the same.

  • The manuscript should be in MS Word format.
  • The title of the manuscript should be appropriate.
  • The manuscript shall be original and unpublished.
  • The submission should not be plagiarized, and free from grammatical, spelling, and other errors.
  • Full names of all the author(s) must be given.
  • 20th edition Bluebook format of footnoting should be followed
  • The body of the manuscript shall be in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10 single line spacing
  • Page borders shall not be used.
  • A maximum of Three co-authors are permitted.

Theme

Any appropriate theme related to the socio-legal aspect is acceptable.

Word Limit (Subject to relaxation)

  • Research Papers (4000- 10000 words including footnotes)
  • Articles (3000-4000 words including footnotes)
  • Short Notes (2000-3000 words including footnotes)
  • Book Reviews (1000-2000 words including footnotes)
  • Case Commentaries (1000-3000 words including footnotes)

Publication Fee

Lawjustify does not charge any kind of publivation fee at any stage of publication process.

Submission Guidelines For Blogs

Lawjustify also calls for unique and unpublished Blogs on a rolling basis will be published in  on our online website. We welcome blog posts that address contemporary issues in any field of law. It will be appreciated if submissions are with respect to editorial commentary and candid views. We prefer posts which include critical analysis or explore particular themes of wider resonance.

LawJustify does not charge any kind of publication fee at any stage of the publication process.

 

Copyright

Copyright: Once a submission is selected for publication, the author(s) is/are required to send a declaration for publication and copyright of the article transferred to Lawjustify. No separate forms are to be signed whereas authors hold the moral right to the article and have to adhere to creative common license stated under open access policy.

Withdrawal of Submission: In order to withdraw a submitted manuscript, author(s) is/are required to inform the editorial board via mail, well in advance before publication. The journal has no objection to such requests. However, the charges paid will not be refunded because we give ample time to the author(s) to decide whether they want to publish their research with us and to make the requisite payment. Once a manuscript has been published it cannot be removed or withdrawn.
